Acer Aspire 4720Z

I have had my Acer Aspire 4720Z over 2 years now. I really like the brand and believe the company makes high quality products. I decided to buy this Acer because I previously had another Acer which unfortunately was stolen from me.

I got the Acer aspire 4720Z because it was a decent price. The laptop itself is really nice looking, has Intel pentium dual-core processor inside, 1 gb RAM, 160 gb HDD, nice web camera, mic, card reader, Windows Vista installed and other stuff that normal computers should have.

Over the 2 years I have owned this computer I have upgraded it, changing 1 gb RAM to 3 gb (I did it right after I bought it because I planned to do so. Unfortunately it didn't support 4gb RAM, only 3gb), then after a year I have changed the hard drive to 320gb. I believe that upgrade is really worth it and cost me less then if I bought another computer.

There was one thing I absolutely loved about this Acer when I bought it, it's weight. Compared to other computers, Acer was lighter. But now for me it's not huge thing since I stopped taking it with me a long time ago since I got a Nokia Internet tablet, then Ipad.

My laptop has all necessary things, even small ones such as a card reader.
However there is one thing that could be better , it's speakers. In my opinion it's not loud enough. Keyboard and touchpad are fine.

Talking about speed and overall performance I would say I'm satisfied but don't forget I have upgraded RAM and HDD. Also Windows 7 works much better then vista so I upgraded OS too.

If I have a chance I would definitely recommend this laptop to a friend because it would be decent purchase.
