Acer Aspire 4730Z Review

by Alison
(Titusville, FL )

I have an Acer Aspire 4730Z. It came with an Intel Pentium dual core processor, 250GB HDD, and 2 GB DDR2. It has a 14" screen.

The first thing that attracted me was the price. I was desperate for a good computer for school, but being a student and a mom of five, there was little funding. I was afraid that I would "get what I paid for". It was about $400 all told. But when I got home I was so pleasantly surprised.

It was very "plug- and -play" right out of the box, which was one of the best things about it. It came with the Windows Vista software. The key board is easy, and comes with a mousepad in the front which is very responsive and has a scroll down feature which I use frequently. The speakers have a nice sound quality to them.

It is hard for me to come up with a bad thing about my little Acer laptop! The only thing I would really wish for is a built in camera , so that I could make video calls to friends and family without extra hardware and wires around.

Speed and performance have been more than adequate for me. This is my little office workhorse, I don’t do any gaming, so this has been the perfect computer for me.

I would absolutely recommend the Acer Aspire 4730Z to my friends and will probably be buying my teenage daughters Acer laptops in the near future for their continued schooling.
