MacBook Pro 15 Inch

Once I graduated high school I scoured the stores for the perfect laptop at college. I entered the market with no knowledge of what I wanted, including if I wanted to make the switch to an Apple laptop.

After doing a ton of research I chose an Apple largely because of the long life, high resale value and lower risk of viruses.

I purchased a 15” MacBook Pro with a 2 GHz Intel Core Duo processor with 1 GB of ram and an 80 GB hard drive. It was part of the first generation of macbooks.

I purchased a pro rather than a standard MacBook because of the larger screen size and light-up keyboard. The keyboard was highly responsive and felt better than the macbook’s keyboard.

While the speakers were not as good as I expected, they did just fine. The laptop was fast and stable, and still is to this day (nearly 3 ½ years later).

The best part of this laptop is the aesthetics, light-up keyboard, and large screen. The worst things include Apple’s limited warranty and short battery.

However, I will continue to purchase Apple products for the foreseeable future. I would highly recommend this laptop and will stick with Apple until there is a windows platform that can do better!
