Toshiba Satellite A200-E530

What specs (memory, hard drive, etc.) did your laptop come with, if known?

My Toshiba Satellite A200-E530 came with 1 GB RAM, 120 GB SATA HDD, pre-loaded Windows Vista, NVidia GeForce 7300, and DVD-RW/DVD-R/CD-R Drive with 15.4" Wide Screen

What are the best and worst things about your laptop?

The best things about this laptop is, although it is quite big in size, it is not as heavy as it seems, the keyboard is very comfortable to use, and the screen is very nice. Very good to watch HD movie. And also the performance is very good for general use such as document editing, programming, and photo editing.

The worst things about this laptop is after using it for sometimes, the lower part of the laptop will become very hot and not comfortable to put on your lap.

How would you rate the keyboard, touchpad, and speakers?

The keyboard is very nice and very comfortable to use, the touchpad itself is not very comfortable and I had to rely on external mouse all the time. The speakers were very good. It is Harman Kardon speakers and the sound quality is similar to normal speakers. Bass quality was very good.

How would you rate your laptop's speed and performance?

It is quite fast if you only use it for general use and light software. For heavy software like Adobe Photoshop it will take quite long to load and sometimes will affect laptop performance heavily.

Did you have any technical issues or problems? If so, what was your experience like?

Technical issues that I experienced came mainly from software problems and not hardware. For software problems, I just have to reformat the Windows again and it will be like brand new again.

Would you recommend this laptop to a friend? Will you buy from this laptop brand again?

Yes, of course. Toshiba has been known for a while and it has good quality. Yes, I will sure buy from this brand again.
