Toshiba Satellite L455D

My Toshiba Satellite laptop was purchased in late December of 2009. I got it from Wal-Mart a few days before Christmas to take advantage of pre-Christmas sales.

I purchased it for roughly 420 dollars (after tax). It came with 2gb of memory, and a 250gb hard drive. This is in no way the greatest of laptops, but with that said I have yet to experience any significant problems in the 2.5 months of use.

My favorite thing about this laptop is the large screen, which when paired with Windows 7 is perfect for using the split screen technology. The things I dislike include a slow processor and large, loud buttons for the touchpad.

The keyboard is the perfect size, the touchpad is fine except problems mentioned above, the speakers are loud enough for music to be heard in a small room, but is not very good for movies without speakers.

The laptop speed is fine for the price that was paid, and the performance is fast enough. I have yet to experience any technical issues, and have kept my laptop running smoothly by using a few freeware programs to cover antivirus and space on the hard drive.

I would recommend this laptop to a friend, and if given the choice, I would purchase this again.
